This formerly popular Homecoming tradition involved senior men marching down the street dressed as public figures, clowns, vagabonds, and women.

Answer: The Hobo Parade

This 36-year tradition ended in 1946 when World War II and changing cultural values brought a more serious atmosphere to campus.
