Lincoln Hall Trivia

The terra cotta exterior panels on Lincoln Hall depicting Lincoln’s life, quotes, and portraits of contemporaries were a bargain even by 1911 standards.

How much did they cost?

Answer: $1,000

For $1,000, the building acquired 10 scenic panels, 10 quote panels, and 20 medallion portraits. (Ten more quote panels were added in 1929.)
