Before class registration was automated online in 1995, students stood in long, winding lines in this building.

What building was it?

Answer: The Armory

Built in 1912, it was then considered the largest structure in the world without a center support. The main floor has been used to prepare the University’s cadet regime, to house 2,000-plus soldiers during WWI, to hold conventions and assemblies, and to train track and field athletes.
