William J. Lenz
William J. Lenz (AB '73, psychology) has spent 30 years in the business community with the last 25 years focused on building and growing a wealth management business in the greater Chicago area with Smith Barney, a division of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Lenz has one daughter who has already graduated from the University of Illinois and two others currently attending. In Lenz's application letter for board membership, he wrote: "Should your Board be looking for an enthusiastic alum, who has numerous business contacts in the Chicago area, and who now has the time to give back to the University, please consider me as a willing candidate."
