Join the LAS Alumni Association in Oak Park for guided interior walking tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio and neighborhood homes in the Frank Lloyd Wright National Historic District. The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio served as Wright’s private residence and workplace from 1889 to 1909. Wright used his home to explore design concepts that shaped his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, Wright developed a new American architecture—the Prairie style—and designed 125 structures, including such noted buildings as the Robie House, Larkin Building, and Unity Temple.
After the tours, enjoy a semi-private luncheon at Winberie’s Restaurant located in the historic Scoville Square building. Built in 1905 by the Scoville family—the founding family of Oak Park—Scoville Square is rich in architectural detail.
