Images of Buenos Aires

While researching his dissertation on young social activists, anthropology graduate student Richard Freeman turned to the medium that, in his hands, is more powerful than words for telling a story. This award-winning photographer and filmmaker captured his perceptions of the culture, people, and politics of Buenos Aires in a series of stirring black and white photographs. The photographs were displayed at the Illini Union earlier this year.
