To demystify the hiring process and to ensure that all the proper procedures are followed, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has compiled these guidelines for its units.

Overview of Search Process
This document briefly summarizes the search procedures for units within LAS. It is designed as a supplement to the Campus Administrative Manual and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) Search Guidelines and Procedures for Academic Appointments. 
Please read both documents carefully before beginning a search. (EOA) website.

• Preparation of Narrative
  Required information to be gathered during the search and selection process for a position. This information is included in the packet of documentation submitted to the LAS Equal Employment Opportunity Committee (EEOC) for approval.
• Packet Checklist for LAS EEOC Approval
  Instructions how to prepare a packet of documentation for transmittal to LAS for Equal Employment Opportunity Committee (EEOC) approval.
