Dale Bauer, Faculty Fellow

Dale BauerDale Bauer is Professor of English. She also serves as Chair of the University's Promotion and Tenure Committee. She has published three books, Feminist Dialogics, Edith Wharton's Brave New Politics, and Sex Expression and American Women Writers, in addition to three editions or collections, including The Cambridge Companion to Nineteenth-Century American Women's Writing. Her focus on teaching has included essays on pedagogy, failure, and student resistance. She is the 2003 recipient of the Sturgill Award for Excellence in Graduate Education, and has also served on the Carnegie Initiative on the Doctorate.

Michel Bellini, Faculty Fellow

Michel Bellini Michel Bellini is Associate Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology. He also serves as the Associate Director for the Undergraduate Education in the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology. His research focuses on the cellular mechanisms that regulate co-transcriptional processing of messenger RNAs. One of his major teaching goals is to develop new strategies for providing students with an experimental and integrated view of the cell in large class settings. He is also currently exploring the various opportunities offered by online courses to enrich the overall learning experience of our students.
