Presidents Council Recognition
Private support makes the difference between an excellent education and an extraordinary one.
Presidents Council Levels of Recognition
All of an individual's or couple's gifts to the U of I Foundation and the University may be credited toward membership and toward the recognition levels within the Presidents Council. Corporate matching gifts are also counted.
Membership Circle
Memberships in the Membership Circle are accorded to individuals or couples who have made:
- a cumulative or outright gift of $25,000 or more in cash, securities, or real or personal property with this accepted minimum appraised value; or
- a deferred commitment of $50,000 or more through a bequest, trust, or deferred giving instrument.
Consular Circle
Memberships in the Consular Circle are accorded to individuals or couples who have made:
- a cumulative or outright gift of $50,000 - $99,999; or
- a deferred commitment of $100,000 or more.
Centuria Circle
Memberships in the Centuria Circle are accorded to individuals or couples who have made:
- a cumulative or outright gift of $100,000 - $499,999; or
- a deferred commitment of $200,000 or more.
Pentad Circle
Memberships in the Pentad Circle are accorded to individuals or couples who have made:
- a cumulative or outright gift of $500,000 - $999,999; or
- a deferred commitment of $500,000 or more.
Laureate Circle
Memberships in the Laureate Circle are accorded to individuals or couples who have made:
- a cumulative, outright gift, or deferred commitment of $1,000,000; or
- a cumulative, outright gift, or deferred commitment of $5,000,000; or
- a cumulative, outright gift, or deferred commitment of $10,000,000.
