The graduating class of 2008 is ready to make its mark on the world.
With interests ranging from religious studies to mathematics, this year's graduating class from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is guaranteed to make its impact felt far and wide, and for years to come. Here are just a few graduates whose bright futures began in LAS.

Justin Doran never spent more than a couple of years in one spot until he reached the University of Illinois. His affinity for Champaign-Urbana therefore runs deeper than most.
Cristie Labus is entering a profession that deals in uncertainty and is traditionally occupied by men. Even with so many unknowns, however, she's certain of her goal.
A desire to serve others through volunteering brought Sara Gibbs to Illinois. In the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the urge to help bloomed into a young career.
Thomas Victor built an outstanding career in medicine since he left the University during the Eisenhower administration. He never forgot that thing that never arrived, however: His bachelor's degree.
