Have you ever wondered how to prepare for a lunch or dinner interview? How to mingle at a business networking event? Or maybe you just want to know which spoon to use for the soup. Come and enjoy a four-course dinner while you learn the basics of business dining etiquette. Hosted by the Pre-Law Club, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss. This event is open to the entire U of I campus. Reservations required. $15 registration fee includes four-course meal and Dining Skills for Today tutorial presented by Beth Reutter, etiquette consultant. Dress is business casual.

The Philippine Student Association Presents: Art and Awareness Benefit Concert and Art Auction! The Benefit Concert will include a variety of performances from spoken word, jazz/experimental/rap, step, modern dance, singing, and MORE. The Art Auction will include paintings, drawings, photography, graphic designs, and MANY MORE! The bake sale will include a variety of very delicious sweets! All proceeds received at this event will go directly to the Philippine National Red Cross. Come enjoy the philanthropic fun!

Want to make a difference for visually impaired children and adults while gaining leadership skills and meeting new friends while volunteering? Join Hope for Vision at UIUC and help plan the 2nd Annual iWalk and 5K Run for Vision. This event raises money and awareness for degenerative eye diseases while giving participants an opportunity to experience different forms of eye diseases themselves. All proceeds go to Hope for Vision, a nonprofit organization that raises money for the development of treatments and cures for retinal degenerative eye diseases. Contact Ashley for more information!

Interested in leading peers in group discussions regarding the alcohol culture on campus? Interested in learning more about the health and safety issues related to drinking? CHLH 199 (AC1 & AC2) is a course offered Spring semester that teaches practical facilitation skills and alcohol education. Students will examine alcohol use and abuse on college campuses, as well as develop practical skills for leading peer discussions for the ACE IT (Alcohol Culture Explored Interactive Theatre) program. Students from this course are eligible to be peer facilitators for the ACE IT program next Fall.
