History and Philosophy Convocation

4:00 p.m., Smith Memorial Hall, 805 S. Mathews Avenue, Urbana

Students graduating with degrees in history or philosophy are invited to participate in a special convocation ceremony hosted by the Departments of History and Philosophy. This ceremony is only for students who earned degrees in August or December 2011, or are on the May 2012 pending degree list (or plan to finish in August 2012) and who did not participate in Winter Convocation.

Degree candidates are sent information in March regarding registration and participation.

  • Register for the History and Philosophy Convocation
    You may begin registering on Monday, March 5, 2012, to participate in this convocation. The registration deadline is Friday, April 27, 2012. You MUST register in order to receive tickets for your guests. PhD candidates are asked to provide the name of the faculty who will hood you.
