International Programs

Study abroad

There's a great big wonderful world out there and it's calling your name.

When you graduate, you will live and work in a global society. By studying abroad, you will strengthen your language skills, gain an international perspective, and learn about yourself and your own society–all while earning college credit.

Through these programs, sponsored and supervised by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, you will earn academic credit at the University and maintain your residency. Most University financial aid applies.

Courses Abroad

Discover the world over winter or summer break with these three- to six-week-long courses. All of the courses are taught in English and fit into the schedule for almost any LAS major. Each course includes ample opportunities to interact with the local population and experience another culture. Students say that these short courses are unforgettable. Rather than satisfying their curiosity, they increase their desire to learn more about the world.

Semester and Yearlong Programs in LAS

Learn a language and immerse yourself in another culture through programs sponsored and supervised by LAS departments. The longer courses are often life-changing because they make you look at yourself and the world through a different lens. Immersive experiences, such as these, are invaluable for preparing for any career that has an international component.
