Program Summary
This study abroad course in Jordan is designed to provide students the opportunity to develop their language proficiency through an intensive immersion program, to enhance their awareness of different aspects of the Arab culture, and to acquire the skills needed for conducting research about the target culture. Students will study the Arabic language intensively; interact with a wide variety of scholars, students, and teachers; discover the rich diversity of the Arab culture; and visit important cultural and historical sites in Jordan. Students who complete this course will receive 5 hours of credit.
Program Fee
$3,350*
Some scholarships are available for the Courses Abroad programs.
Includes: Airfare, housing, excursions, and local transportation.
Does Not Include: U of I tuition and fees, meals, visa, and personal expenses.
