The credit comes from the Department of Political Science, but internships can take place not only in government, but also in business, professional organizations, museums, lobbying groups and other agencies.
Students in any major are eligible. Prerequisites include 60 hours of credit, a 3.0 grade point average, and two courses in Political Science (specifically Political Science 150 and a 300-level Political Science course).
