Student Organizations

Student organizations offer additional ways for you to explore careers, acquire leadership skills, and have fun. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences sponsors two such organizations that are specifically devoted to building leadership skills. The University offers many more. Of the hundreds available, one is bound to be right for you.

LAS Council
LAS Council is your connection to your college. Its mission is to serve the students of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. LAS Council offers all undergraduates opportunities to discuss and gain insight into campus and college issues, and attain leadership experiences. -
LAS Leaders
LAS Leaders are ambassadors for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. These students are selected to represent the college at alumni and University events and through community service. They also benefit from career-building activities and mentoring by alumni. - Ligase MCB Club
